2002 Australia Total Solar Eclipse
The 2001 Outback Sunset Eclipse
In November 2002, I was on the TravelQuest solar eclipse tour of Australia. A few of us went a week early to tour some astronomical facilities, then met up with the main group in Sydney. From there we went to Carines and the Great Barrier Reef. After viewing a 26 second sunset eclipse from the Outback, we went to Adelaide, Kangaroo Island, and Melbourne

The Moon's shadow was prominent for the sunset eclipse.
